I have lovingly created this website, and sincerely hope that it will be of good use to you.
After many years of working in the sales and lettings industry in Birmingham and Solihull, I emigrated to Spain to further pursue my career in the buy to let and holiday rental industry.
During my time living in a holiday resort and experiencing the overseas property investment boom first hand, it occurred to me that even with the best holiday marketing in the world, the majority of holiday accommodation will sit empty for short periods during the year.
Then, just a few weeks before the birth of my beautiful daughter, I saw a horrific news report on Spanish television about abused children, and I confess it changed my life forever.
It was then, whilst contemplating how I could contribute towards helping children’s charities, that I invented the Sun and Happiness campaign and holibob.com.
The Sun and Happiness campaign, I know will be a massive success, for one simple reason. The people my campaign is aimed at recruiting for support are a group of very special people.
All the property investors and landlords I have had the pleasure of working with over the last ten years have a certain energy about them, a real zest for life, and ultimately a desire to do well and provide for their friends and family.
From window cleaners and nurses to professional footballers, every one of them has said “this is a fantastic idea, and a very worthwhile cause.”
The wonderful thing about holibob.com is that I can continue to serve all those wonderful people who support my campaign.
